Booking and arrival

We give an arrival window rather than an exact time, because grooming is not a fixed-length job and traffic across Greater Orlando is not predictable. We text when the van is on its way. Someone over eighteen must be at the address for the whole appointment.

What the van needs

The van needs roughly the length of a parked car, legally and safely parked, within a reasonable walk of your door. It carries its own power and water, so we do not need an outlet or a hose. If you are in a gated community, give us the code or leave our name at the gate when you book.

Cancellations

Cancel or move an appointment with at least twenty-four hours' notice and there is no charge. Less than that, or nobody at the address when the van arrives, and we may charge a fee for the slot, because the van drove there and the time cannot be resold.

Your pet's health and temperament

Tell us honestly about bites, fear, age, arthritis, seizures, skin conditions and anything a groomer handling your pet should know. We can work with almost anything if we know about it. We will stop a groom and charge only for the work completed if continuing would be unsafe for your pet or for the groomer.

Matting

Severe matting cannot be brushed out without hurting the animal. Where a coat is matted to the skin the humane option is to clip it short, and we will tell you before we do it. Skin under a heavy mat is often already irritated and can look worse once it is uncovered; that is the mat's doing, not the clipper's.

Payment

Payment is due when the appointment is finished. We take cards and the usual digital methods. Prices on this site are starting prices: the final price depends on size, coat condition and the work the coat actually needs, and we tell you before we start, not after we finish.

Satisfaction

If something is not right, call within forty-eight hours and we will come back and fix it at no charge. We would much rather do that than have you live with a groom you are unhappy with.
